We could talk about the game this morning all night but we will try and keep it as short as possible and sweet.

After last weeks 10-1 win over Woodville, we took on a well matched side in Marlborough Rovers & you could tell from the warm up that we was well up for this one! We had a strong team talk and went for it from the start. This was by far the best game we have played. Every single player should be proud of themselves because they listened to what we said before kick off and dominated most parts of the game.

We went 1-0 up with a nice slotted finish from

Jude followed by an amazing free kick from top scorer Louis to make it 2-0. Marlbrough managed to pull it back to 2-2 but we made them work for it & in the end both teams could have won. Lots of praise must go to Joseph who pulled off 2 or 3 crucial saves near the end of the match. Ben, Freddie & Dexter when coming on were absolutely solid at the back, the link up play, movement & passing between Louis, Jude, George & Zach when called upon at times was outstanding & we as coaches are very happy as that’s what we worked on in training. As for Lucas, this guy has improved and impressed us so much the last few weeks with his performances in numerous positions. Nothing fazes the lad ??

The game eventually went to penalties & we got the win which now means we have won the last two ??

Today’s man of the match was a tough one & could have gone to anyone but it was awarded to Freddie for another solid & professional performance.

The progress this team has made is unbelievable and will only get better. We are so proud of you all today lads ?? the support was amazing as usual ??

Attention now turns to Wednesday’s game away to Melbourne ??
