Let’s talk about yesterday’s amazing performance shall we! ?? Let’s just say we finished the season on a high and in some style! We thrashed our opponents on their own patch with just the 7 players. We dominated the game from start to finish & passed the ball about so well with some lovely one touch football. This was our biggest ever league win and also a clean sheet for our amazing Goalkeeper Joseph, he was determined to not let a goal in yesterday and his saves were amazing. Ben and Dexter were absolutely solid at the back and Dexters run and assist for one of our goals will be remembered for a long time! Unfortunately we can’t share the video but it’s special! Jax ran the midfield yesterday, won every ball and grabbed himself a well deserved goal. George battled for every ball and took on his opponents with his amazing skills on the wing. Lucas was phenomenal, his footwork was brilliant and he glided past their defenders with ease and also grabbed himself a deserved goal, and finally Jude. He grabbed himself a perfect hat trick and grabbed himself the top scorer title for the season.
It was a memorable game and a fantastic way to finish our 7 a side season. We awarded Player Of The Match award to all the boys yesterday as they sure put a shift in. They hadn’t trained for two weeks because of the Easter break but that result and performance has been coming for a while now.
So proud lads, well done!!?? we have one last 7v7 friendly arranged in May before we move to 9 a side and welcome our two new players. Exciting!!
