Sheila Scott Cup Exit

A loss and exit from The Sheila Scott Cup this morning for the knights.

A pitch that was uphill and hadn’t had a mow for a long time but we didn’t let that phase us and got on with the job and we had a strong start. Louis grabbing another goal to add to his tally with a slotted finish into the bottom corner. Joseph went off with a hand injury at half time so had to be replaced in goal by Freddie so credit to Freddie for stepping in goal for us, that’s a team player ?? The first 15 minutes of the second half was the best we have played in a competitive game. Some of the passing was really, really good and we managed to grab another goal scored by Jude whose pace helped in the second half and was part of the plan. That’s the first time we have scored more than 1 goal in a competitive match so another achievement.

We ran out of steam towards the end and was chasing them back uphill but so many positives to take from this one. We keep working ??

Huge congratulations to Zach who not only got an assist for Jude but also received Player of the match. By far his best performance for the Knights. Keep that up boy!
