Three wins a row for Ambassadors as they ground out a win against Beaumont Park on a blustery day at Avisford Park

The opening exchanges lead to few opportunities which troubled either keeper and with Beaumont PArk playing one up top it was obvious they were looking to contain Ambassadors and hit them on the counter attack.

The opening goal game on 25 Minutes when Noller in an unusual right wing position turned the left back inside and out and then put in a peach of a cross which Touclet headed home with a fantastic effort. This seemed to lift Ambassadors and with the defence looking solid to everything thrown at them and the Midfield breaking down any Beaumont Park advances took control of the game and it wasn’t long until they were 2-0 up as Alex Chivers-Gibbs was brought down in the area. Noller as usual stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way from the spot once again. Ambassadors saw out the half and scrappy yet effective performance saw them in control of the game

Second half was more of the same as the game remained scrappy and Beaumont Park looked to go more direct. Ambassadors escaped a couple of slight scares as the defence held tight as Beaumont Park looked to advance more players to look to get back into the game but goal chances for each team were minimal.

Then on 75 minutes after some neat interchange in the middle of the park Ben Chivers Gibbs, sent Alex through the middle and although the keeper saved the initial effort Alex followed up to give the third goal, which sealed the game for a vital third win in a row. Ambassadors now looking to cement their 5th place position in the league and have a week off before they play Yapton Reserves on the 23rd February.
