Affinity FC 1 vs 6 ARYPT1

<p>The return game against ARYPT was unfortunately not too dissimilar to the first.&nbsp; With a number of Affinity players away or working it was an uphill task on a pitch more likely to deliver seasickness than flowing football.

<p>ARYPT had the majority of possession in the first 20 minutes and were first to most balls putting the Affinity defence under pressure.&nbsp; Affinity we're struggling to keep possession of the ball for more than 2 or 3 passes but when they did they were able to stretch ARYPT giving some hope.

<p>In the first game with ARYPT they scored a couple of classy goals and they followed the return game too.&nbsp; ARYPT scored a first after 25 mins with Aaron managing to push a powerful shot onto the post which then found the net.&nbsp; A second followed after 40 after Aaron had made a fine fingertip save as a powerful deflected was pushed over the bar.&nbsp; Affinity weren't able to see the rest of the half out though with a third coming out of nowhere with the last move of the half finished off by a dunked chip over Aaron from the edge of the penalty box.&nbsp;

<p>Affinity had more possession in the second half but not enough of it was in the ARYPT third of the field to put them under consistent pressure.&nbsp; ARYPT continued to win more than their fair share of first balls from goal kicks which meant that the pressure was fairly relentless on the Affinity midfield and defence.&nbsp;

<p>Fourth and fifth ARYPT goals followed but Affinity heads didn't drop and they had their best spell of football of the game.&nbsp; Some neat passing in the middle with Steve and Luke moving the ball to Jamie and Woodsy, who had replaced Josh P after he tweaked his hamstring again, delivered a ball across the box from the right finished off into the roof of the net by Gary C.

<p>ARYPT annoyed at conceding we're rattled for a few minutes and Affinity could have had a second following a mazy run from Sean his shot beat the keeper but found the bar and ARYPT cleared their lines.&nbsp; ARYPT finished the game off with a sixth and powerful strike from the edge of the area giving Aaron no chance.

<p>Man of the match goes to Gary C for his all round battling performance and goal.&nbsp; Aaron also had a fine game making a number of fine saves
