Today was a sad but special day for the boys in green, as 2 years ago our gaffer passed away.

The 2 are no strangers as they share the same ground through out the season.
Putney win the toss and kick off the match and start off very strong, with every pass every tackle every header going in with 100 percent commitment.
With in 15 minutes Putney found them selfs 1-0 up with a lovely finish by winger Jason T who earlier had a goal taken away from him for being offside.
7 minutes after the goal striker Shak was fouled and brought down for a penalty which vice captain calmly chipped home. 2-0 to the greens and playing some really good football.
The game is very much under control with the greens keeping the ball nicely, defending properly and working hard for each other.
The chances and game play was a pleasure to watch. Centre mid wazza picks up the ball and fizzes the ball in to forward Michael and takes a good first touch and then turns and spins and hits a screamer of a volley to make it 3-0, it’s gonna take some goal to stop that from being goal of the season.
They say foot ball is a funny game and like that against the run of play parklife score to make it 3-1. A bit of a goal mouth scramble but the ball ended up in the back of the net.

Second half was not as entertaining as the first, parklife was throwing the kitchen sink at Putney, which was defended very well.
With that all being said and done Putney got there fourth and killed the game off.
