PUTNEY THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND AFTER GREAT COME BACK

After a very emotional 2 weeks for AFC Putney they face a very strong and tough battersea side who are on a great run domestically and with putney on a poor run of form.

The game started very fast with putney taking control in the first ten minutes but it was BPR who struck first and went 1-0 ahead. 5 minutes after putney is was in shock and found them selves 2-0 down which they could not believe but only had them selves to blame by making 2 awful defensive mistakes

Putney grabbed a goal back with great work by winger dan smith crossed the ball and a great dummy by tom smith which allowed anchor man rushan Vincent to pull on goal back (miss kick) (yes we saw it)

Literally 4 minutes after that BPR struck again it was all going wrong at the back for putney and goals and as leaking in.

Impact sub otedola was causing all sorts of problems with his long throws and there it was 4-3 tucked away by in form striker Oliver skeete that's 4 in 2 for the big man

Last ten minutes putney keep pressing and there Reward was given another long throw by otedola and there he was imapact sub Morgan saw it over the line..
