vs AFC Hammersmith

Neutral tournament match

Today was the start of our season, fighting and competing for the southbank challenge cup against Surrey cup

Champions and southern Sunday football league champions AFC Hammersmith.

A lot of rivalry between the 2 clubs and no mater how you looked at it this was no pre season warm up game.

AFC hammersmith started the half off the better out of the 2 teams with controlling the game and doing what they like at there own will.

Hammersmith scored s lovely goal from one of there fantastic front 3 which lobbed goal keeper Michael power . After that Hammersmith continued to pressure Putney's goal leaving Putney's gaffer fuming.

If it wasn't for the outstanding centre back Vincent putney would have been 3/4 nill down easy .

Half time 1-0

The gaffer lost his mind at Half time and told them exactly what needs doing it this could end up being a rugby score.

5 changes made from putney and straight away you could see the Difference from the side and with in ten minutes putney equalised great ball from rushan Vincent what put through right winger Danny vassar one on one and was slotted by the winger with ease .

New signing and substitute Jason came on and absolutely changed the game, pushing vice captain Daniel smith in a deeper role which he absolute bossed and controlled made it a lot easy for the attacking people in front of him. Jason came on and with in 15 made an impact with setting up the second goal for Ian lishmund.

It got much better for putney with Danny v setting up new look Ashley Morgan which he finished nicely .

Putney at this time was controlling the game and should of scored a few more popping the ball around at ease and play like a team with confidence putney then scored there 4th though tom hill to put the game to bed .

Welcome putney
