Both Teams going into the game with 3 points in the bag beating there opponents the week before respectively.
Putney knew that they had to be on top of there game to beat a well disciplined and organised Westminster Side away from home.
Westminster started very brightly in the first 15/20 mins creating a lot of chances and pressing the Putney boys deep into there half.
Unfortunately for Putney they lost George at CB due to a calf injury in the 20th minute and Gaffa's had to re-shuffle the team. Putting anchor man Sanchez at CB and bringing in CM Wazza.
5 mins later Westminster got what they deserved a well worked goal and Volley into the net....
1-0 Westminster!
Now with Putney up against it they started to wake up and got a well deserved equaliser, possession in midfield and a deflection landing to Top Goalscorer Sam to calmly put the ball in bottom corner outside the box.....
1-1 Putney!
Westminster continued to upset Putney and again deserved another goal only this time a mistake from midfield gifting Westminster to attack and put it in the net...
2-1 Westminster!
Half time: 2-1 Westminster
Second Half:
After both Gaffa's letting the boys know they are not happy with what they see, the Putney boys start the 2nd half with high intensity and start to play the way they should creating chances and in the 60th minute it finally come.
A corner from Wazza picking out CB Azza with a nice worked volley into the net....
2-2 Putney!
Putney Gaffa's make a tactical change bringing on 2 subs and changing the formation to get that next goal.
Both teams creating good chances and there had to be a goal from either side and finally it did come in the 88th minute.
Substitute Jason passing the ball to Striker Ish to go one on with the keeper and calmly slotting in the net.....
3-2 Putney!!!
Now with on my minutes left to play Putney had to keep there heads and play smart. Westminster going for it putting 3 up top to push for that equaliser.
With only seconds left to play Putney again got sloppy in attack which left the defence isolated and Westminster counter attack with a 4 on 2, the left winger puts the ball in the 6 yard box for there striker to tap in from 6 yards!!

After a hard fought game and Putney coming from behind twice only to be heartbroken in the last seconds, was a very tough day for everyone.
But showed great character, resilience & bravery to show that there not just a great footballing side.
And when the going gets tough everyone at the club are together!
It wasn't 3 points but we still go unbeaten so heads up lads, management are proud and we move on to the next game.
