A Day To Forget

<p>Our game today was certainly our worse performance this season, I know we went down to 10men but the work rate really wasn't there for the last 15, if you're tired and physically can't run any more, ask for a sub. I know no one likes coming off but sometimes you need to swallow your pride and just do it for the benefit of the team. The first goal was a really sloppy goal to concede and I don't blame Ryan for it as he was out numbered 2 to 1, I don't know if I should of committed to cover him and left my man free in the 6 yard box or Tom should of got back and helped Ryan. To be honest we all could of done more today but that's in the past now and we need to not let it happen again. Callaghans equaliser was well taken and fully deserved at that moment in the game, I can't remember who made the pass but it was a good one and they left Lee with an good chance to bring us back into the game. And now it brings me to Kyle's moment of madness which I didn't actually see but from what I heard it was very late and a tad out of order, I know kyle doesn't ever go other to hurt anyone or play the game like a thug but everyone has that boiling point. Kyle just had one of those days and I can see why he was frustrated but you are better than that mate and I know you will work on keeping your cool in future. I didn't want to single anyone out on this but we only have one person in goal and there's no way around it. Dave has made some world class saves this season and kept us in games before today, everyone's aloud an off day. I want to say this in the nicest way possible but with there second goal you really should be catching that or atleast pushing it wide. Maybe us defenders should be following the shot up but from our perspective it was a tame effort which we thought you'd have covered but shit happens and we learn from our mistakes. I myself made a few scuffed clearances and I didn't play well. One last thing, without andys non stop running today it could of been alot worse.<br>
