<p>Freehouse Reserves vs Prospect farm rangers <p><br><p><br><p><br><p>Today's result was hard to take, we started extremely positive with an early goal from kyle needham after some neat link up play put him through on goal which he tucked away nicely. After the first goal went in we looked strong, dominant and with confidence flowing through the team we looked sure to make this game one to remember. I would like to take a moment here to appreciate the ground I covered after there midfielder played a a real defence splitting ball which left touty, Matt, and kyle stuck in the mud and then it just left me with about 30 yards to cover and the striker had a head start but I somehow got my short chunky legs running (a rare thing for me) to make up the ground and just get enough on a slide tackle followed up with a standing tackle to Clear it out for a throw. I'm sure other players had there own moments of brilliance aswell. The our opponents score was a well worked team goal that left us scratching our heads and wondering who to point fingers at, all I know is someone didn't track there man which left me outnumbered 2 to 1 in the box. Half time came and with that we were given 15mins to regroup and plan a new means of attack. The second half kicked off with a positive glow around the team with numerous promising attacks which lead to a resulting corner. After the corner had been kick out for a goal kick something appeared to be wrong with kyle, I don't feel right describing the events that happened but all I can say is I glad kyle is ok and props to gary, vicky, pops,dave b, Jon, Callaghan and tout for there actions in helping kyle when he was in need. After the restart the fight wasn't there at All, a few players looked like there heads had gone and body's seized up. After the game had finished the other team admitted to Jon Crowley and the referee that they had fielded an illegible player, I glad we get a 2nd chance to play them as we deserved more from the game.
