AFC Defib Suffer Narrow Defeat To Only Kurls And Horses

In a closely contested league match held at West Somerset College on 9 December 2024, AFC Defib faced off against Only Kurls and Horses, ultimately succumbing to a 2-1 defeat. The match kicked off at 7:50 pm, and despite a spirited performance, AFC Defib were unable to secure a positive result.

AFC Defib lined up in a 3-1-1 formation, which allowed for a solid defensive structure while providing opportunities for attacking play. Hari Sion took his position in goal, shielded by a back three comprising Danny Bird on the right, Harvey Kerslake in the centre, and David Duffy on the left. In front of the defence, Alex Attwell operated as a central midfielder, tasked with linking play and supporting both defence and attack. Up front, Lewis Evans led the line as the striker, with the expectation of converting chances into goals.
