Rich stars as 99Problems pick up their first points of the season with a deserved win.

Utility man and current goalie Skell is unavailable for tonight's match which sees Tommo back in nets. Also forward Jack is sidelined through injury. Tommo, Carvell, Jay, Craig, Andy and Rich make up the starting 6 with George named as sub.

99Problems lose no time in taking the game to their opposition, early shots set the tone for the match, and within 5 minutes could boast plenty of possession and dangerous attacks.

Rich seemed to be up for this match and was heavily involved in most of 99Problems decent play in the early stages. However it was a familiar problem for 99 Problems as they were finding it difficult to translate good football into goals.

Forward Jay nearly scored a sublime header from a superb Craig cross, but the powerful header went just over. Shots were constantly fired in from all angles, and it was only a matter of time before 99Problems scored. It eventually came on the half way mark. Andy picking up a Carvall pass in a central position was able to drive forward and fire a shot into the bottom left corner. It was relief for 99Problems and misery for Hardly Athletic.

Tommo in nets was having a relatively quiet night but was called upon on a few occasions, making some decent saves with both his feet and hands when called on. Defensively 99Problems were sound.

99Problems needed a second and it didn't come long after their first. Carvell was again involved and it was his cross that got smashed in by a Hardly Athletic player. The keeper had no chance, but credit must be served for Carvell for an excellent cross.

Rich was 99Problems outstanding player this evening. A constant thorn for opposition. Rich made many crucial tackles, and dynamic runs throughout the match. However his moment of glory was cruelly taken away from him when his goal bound effort smashed against the post late on.

99Problems overall deserved the win with a good team effort. Although the calibre of opposition must be taken into consideration, it was a solid performance in which every player played their part.
